Sweet Potato Smoothie Bowl

Here’s a Sweet Potato Smoothie Bowl that tastes like fall and has important nutrients like healthy fat, fiber and protein to help keep you satisfied and energized throughout the day!

Nutrition Tip: Sweet potatoes come in a variety of sizes and colors — orange, white, and purple and are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. Bonus: they also feed the good bacteria in the gut!

Ingredients

1/2 large roasted sweet potato (peeled)

2-3 tablespoons unsweetened dairy-free yogurt

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1/4 tsp vanilla extract powder 

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Instructions: Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high, 20-30 seconds or until soft and creamy. Serve and top with grain-free granola, coconut flakes, hemp seeds, and dairy-free chocolate chips (optional).

1/4 cucharadita de canela en polvo

1/4 cucharadita de cúrcuma en polvo

1/2 taza de leche de vainilla y almendras sin azúcar

Instrucciones: Coloque todos los ingredientes en una licuadora y mezcle por 20-30 segundos o hasta que el batido quede suave y cremoso. Sirva con granola sin granos, hojuelas de coco, semillas de cáñamo y chispas de chocolate sin lácteos (opcional).
