However, some store bought varieties can be packed with processed sugar and industry oils which can be harmful to your health. When buying granola be sure to read labels, choosing brands with whole ingredients like oats, seeds, and nuts — that are high in protein and fiber.

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup uncooked quinoa

2 cups raw nuts (roughly chopped)

1 Tbsp coconut palm sugar

3 1/2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

Pour over the dry ingredients and stir to combine until all oats and nuts are

thoroughly coated. Arrange on a large baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely before enjoying.

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL

Granola Casera
